Job Description

Kathmandu Organics is looking for a meticulous and energetic Operations Associate to become the engine room of our daily business. You will be the bridge between our digital storefront and physical delivery, ensuring that our e-commerce platform, warehouse, and factory operations run like a well-oiled machine.

Your mission is simple but challenging: Operationalize excellence. You won't just follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); you will refine, implement, and hold the team accountable to them.

Key Responsibilities
  • E-commerce Management: Oversee the daily flow of online orders, ensuring inventory levels are synced and customer fulfillments are handled without a hitch.
  • Warehouse & Inventory: Monitor stock movement from the factory to the warehouse. Conduct regular audits to minimize wastage and ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Factory Liaison: Work closely with the production team to ensure that packaging, labeling, and processing meet our quality standards and timelines.
  • SOP Implementation: Transform abstract business goals into concrete daily workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring every staff member follows established SOPs.
  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in our delivery or production chain and suggest (then execute) smarter ways to work.

Who You Are
  • A Systems Thinker: You love a good checklist and believe that "chaos" is just a process that hasn't been written down yet.
  • Logistically Minded: You understand the nuances of supply chain management within the Kathmandu ecosystem.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating e-commerce dashboards, inventory software, and basic data reporting.
  • Hands-on Leader: You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves at the warehouse to show the team how things should be done.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in operations, logistics, or retail management (Experience in the food/organic sector is a major plus!).

Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a mission-driven company promoting sustainable agriculture in Nepal.
  • High level of autonomy—your ideas for efficiency will be heard and implemented.
  • Competitive salary based on experience and a vibrant, growing work environment.
