Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Kathmandu. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and conducting regular audits. The role also involves preparing budgets, analyzing financial data to support decision-making, and ensuring meticulous accuracy in all financial records.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting principles, bookkeeping, and managing general ledger accounts
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of tax regulations, VAT compliance, and preparing tax returns
- Experience with financial auditing and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools; familiarity with digital finance platforms is a plus
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification such as ACCA/CA is a strong advantage
- Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Experience in handling financial processes for Startups, SMEs, or Corporates will be advantageous
