Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire accounting and finance function of the organisation.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory requirements.
Supervise and guide the accounting team; assign tasks and monitor performance.
Handle audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to management.
Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of financial data.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
Support management in decision-making with accurate financial analysis.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA/ACCA preferred)
4–6 years of experience in accounting/finance
At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Good understanding of VAT, tax laws, and statutory compliance (Nepal)
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, or similar systems)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to coordinate with auditors, banks, and management
Strong organizational and time management skills
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
