Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Officer based in Jeetpur. The PDI Officer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of commercial vehicles, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and visual components meet company quality standards. Tasks include identifying and resolving potential issues, preparing detailed inspection reports, coordinating with service teams for repairs, conducting quality assurance checks post-repairs, and maintaining proper documentation. Collaboration with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction is also a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in vehicle inspection processes, fault diagnosis, and problem resolution.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial vehicles.
- Exceptional attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain inspection records, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in vehicle inspection, servicing, or a related field is an advantage.
- A diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field, is preferred.
