Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counselor located at our office in Dharan. The Counselor will provide guidance and support to students seeking educational opportunities abroad, including consultations on course selection, application processes, and admission requirements. The role involves assessing student profiles, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring smooth communication with institutions globally. Additionally, the Counselor will assist with visa processes and maintain accurate records of client progress.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for effective student counseling
- Knowledge of study abroad processes, including university admissions and visa application requirements
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining student records and deadlines
- Ability to research and analyze educational and career options to provide tailored guidance
- Proficient in using office software and tools to manage tasks and communications
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or a related field
- Prior experience in educational consulting or counseling is preferred
- Familiarity with international education systems and institutions is a plus
