Job DescriptionAbout the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong test automation expertise in the Python tech stack and a deep understanding of US healthcare data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience validating data pipelines, performing data quality checks, and working with Master Data Management (MDM) systems. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, reliability, scalability, and compliance of our healthcare data products. Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Strategy
- Develop comprehensive test strategies for MDM pipelines, APIs, and Client Onboarding applications.
- Create automation-first QA approaches focused on reliability, traceability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with engineering and Business teams to understand requirements and define clear quality criteria.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks in Python for MDM workflows, data validation, API testing, and backend testing.
- Implement CI/CD-integrated automated test suites to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
- Test MDM processes for entity resolution, entity merging, and Master record creation.
- Validate MDM matching/merging logic using deterministic or probabilistic approaches.
- Ensure MDM workflows integrate correctly with upstream and downstream systems.
- 5–6+ years of experience in Software QA, with at least 3 years in automation using Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, custom frameworks).
- Advanced SQL skills for validating complex datasets.
- Working knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (PyTest, Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, Bamboo, and bitbucket.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with AWS services like CloudFormation, Lambdas, Athena, S3, document DB, etc.
- 3+ years working with US healthcare data, such as:
- Claims
- Eligibility
- Clinical data
- Provider/member datasets
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements and data privacy best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Contributions to process improvement and test automation strategy at a team or organization level.
