Summary
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who believes in servant leadership and is passionate about enabling teams and organizations to succeed. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the software technology domain and a deep understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and real-world application. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration skills, and the ability to foster high-performing, self-organizing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and conduct all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) with a focus on achieving their intended objectives.
- Help identify and remove impediments, enabling continuous delivery, smooth workflow, and relentless improvement.
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environment.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers and team members to support engineering and delivery-related activities.
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, issues, and impediments to stakeholders.
- Compile, track, and publish key Agile and delivery metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Promote Agile best practices and help teams leverage Scrum effectively for maximum business value.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development in roles such as Developer, Tester, Technical Lead, Project Manager, or other technical positions.
- 1–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps processes and tools.
- Fair understanding of technical practices and modern technology stacks.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide, motivate, and empathize with teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system.
- Formal Scrum Master training and/or certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence for Agile project management and documentation.
