Role Description
The Lab Technician will support laboratory operations by performing routine and specialized tests, preparing samples and reagents, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of results. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain reagents, samples, and laboratory equipment.
- Document results, maintain lab records, and ensure data integrity.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers in experiments and research projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong Quality Control experience
- Analytical Skills to evaluate and interpret data
- Expertise in Laboratory Skills and techniques
- Knowledge and experience relevant to the Laboratory Technician profession
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Relevant educational background in science, biology, or a related field
- Problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
