Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee steel manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of steel products.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities
Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines
Monitor steel manufacturing processes (melting, casting, rolling, finishing)
Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, materials)
Reduce downtime and improve productivity
Maintain quality standards and minimize rejection rates
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Supervise, train, and lead production teams
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain departments
Prepare production reports and analyze performance metrics

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / metallurgical engineering or related field
5–10+ years of experience in steel or heavy manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of steel production processes and plant operations
Proven leadership and team management skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
