Job Description
Role OverviewWe are seeking a junior to mid-level Sound Engineer to support dialogue recording and editing for a multi-season TV localization project. This role will work closely with the Lead Sound Engineer and may independently operate a second recording booth if needed. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to grow in professional dubbing and episodic post-production.
- Assist with voice recording sessions (setup, mic checks, session prep)
- Operate recording sessions under direction of the Senior Engineer
- Perform dialogue editing and cleanup
- Prepare sessions for pickups and revisions
- Label, organize, and manage session files
- Export audio files according to delivery specs
- Support QC processes and fix notes
- 1-2 years experience in audio recording or post-production
- Working knowledge of Pro Tools (or equivalent DAW)
- Basic understanding of:
- Dialogue recording
- Audio cleanup
- Session organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn professional dubbing workflows
- Experience recording voice actors or narration
- Familiarity with ADR or dubbing terminology
