This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior EV Technician based in Kathmandu, Nepal. As a Senior EV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks will include battery diagnostics, electrical system repairs, and software diagnostics. You will also provide technical leadership, train junior technicians, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and safety protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electric vehicle systems, battery technology, and electrical diagnostics
- Strong experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles
- Skills in software diagnostics, updating EV systems, and proficiency in relevant automotive tools
- Ability to mentor and train junior staff in technical and safety procedures
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in working on advanced automotive systems, with knowledge of MG Motors or similar brands preferred
- Technical certifications in automotive engineering or EV technology are desirable
