Job Description

The Role

This is a senior leadership position that combines creative design, brand strategy, and digital execution for our smart IoT product line (Smart Lights, Gateways, and Sensors). You will lead the entire visual and design direction of the brand, and ensure that every piece of creative output directly supports our business goals: driving sales, building customer trust, and maintaining a consistent premium identity across all channels.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on design experience with at least 3 years leading cross-functional teams (designers, developers, marketing). Experience with IoT, hardware products, or digital platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Design Tools: Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Digital and Marketing Knowledge: Working knowledge of marketing automation tools (email campaigns, CRM systems), Shopify store management, and front-end web basics (HTML/CSS). 
  • English Fluency: Excellent written and spoken English. You will be creating brand guidelines, presenting strategies, and communicating with international teams. 
  • Leadership: Strong communication, decision-making, and the ability to align multiple teams (Marketing, Engineering, Sales) around a single creative vision. You lead with clarity, not confusion. 
  • Learning Mindset: Willing to explore and adopt new tools, techniques, and workflows. We expect you to stay current with evolving production methods and actively look for ways to improve your output.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and protect the brand identity. Create and maintain the official Brand Style Guide so the brand looks, sounds, and feels consistent everywhere.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to understand how our IoT products work at a technical level, so that all design and messaging is both visually strong and technically accurate.
  • Build and maintain Design Systems (reusable component libraries) for websites, mobile apps (UI/UX), and product packaging to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Product leads to ensure product design and packaging clearly support the overall brand story.
  • Lead and mentor a mixed team of Graphic Designers, Motion Specialists, UI/UX Designers, and Front-End Developers.
  • Set up structured, efficient workflows (such as Agile) so that design and engineering teams collaborate without delays or miscommunication.
  • Manage high-budget creative projects such as motion graphics and video production. Enforce a proper planning stage (pre-production) to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Plan and execute the design strategy for social media and email marketing channels.
  • Take ownership of performance creative: make sure advertising and email content is designed to drive measurable sales, not just look good.
  • Use data and analytics (A/B testing, conversion metrics) to validate creative decisions. Every design should start with a clear goal and hypothesis.


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience building or managing a brand for physical/hardware products. 
  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms and optimizing product pages for conversion. 
  • Understanding of motion graphics production pipelines and budgeting. 
  • Familiarity with smart home or IoT products and how they are marketed to end consumers.
