Job Description
Job OverviewWe are looking for a creative and data-driven Assistant Brand Manager to help drive the growth of our premium liquor portfolio. You will support the development and execution of brand strategies, manage Below-the-Line (BTL) activations, and ensure our brands maintain a dominant presence in the Nepali market.
Key Responsibilities- Brand Strategy & Execution: Assist in developing annual brand plans and marketing calendars to achieve sales and equity targets.
- Market Activation (BTL): Lead the planning and execution of on-trade (bars/clubs/restaurants) and off-trade (liquor stores) promotions.
- Agency Management: Liaise with advertising and creative agencies to produce high-quality marketing collateral, ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor pricing, visibility, and consumer trends. Analyze NEPSE-style market shifts in consumer spending.
- Digital Presence: Oversee social media content and digital engagement while adhering to the specific legal constraints of alcohol promotion in Nepal.
- Budget Tracking: Assist in managing the brand budget, ensuring ROI on all promotional spends and processing invoices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Distribution teams to ensure product availability and effective merchandising at the retail level.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in brand management or trade marketing, specifically within the Liquor or FMCG industry in Nepal.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Nepali "Horeca" (Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe) landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting.
- Creative thinking for "dark marketing" and indirect brand building.
- Other Requirements: Must possess a valid two-wheeler license and a personal vehicle.
