Job Description
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales by promoting tour packages, travel services, and customized travel solutions. The role involves handling client inquiries, converting leads into bookings, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries related to tours, travel packages, air tickets, visas, and hotel bookings.
- Promote and sell international tour packages.
- Prepare customized itineraries and quotations based on client requirements.
- Follow up with potential clients to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with operations and ticketing teams for smooth booking execution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales, and client interactions.
- Conduct market research and identify new sales opportunities.
- Attend sales meetings, exhibitions, and promotional events when required.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and post-travel follow-ups professionally.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- Diploma or certification in Travel & Tourism / Sales & Marketing is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales (tour & travel industry preferred).
- Fresh graduates with strong sales skills and travel knowledge may be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to prepare professional itineraries and quotations.
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and email communication.

- Good knowledge of international destinations, visa processes, and travel products.
