The role is responsible for developing and executing effective promotional strategies, driving brand performance, analyzing market trends, coordinating field activities, and ensuring successful product lifecycle management in alignment with global and regional objectives.

MBA / M. Pharma – preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Product Management or Marketing role within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Promotional Strategy & Brand Management
Contribute to the development and execution of annual therapy and brand plans for the Nepal market.
Prepare quarterly Promotional Input Utilization Plans, visit-wise plans, and detailing stories.
Monitor and report monthly plan vs. actual implementation status.
Manage promotional inputs ledger and inventory (receipt, distribution, balance).
Ensure timely dispatch and effective utilization of promotional inputs by the field force.
Coordinate with printers and vendors for promotional materials including literatures, visual aids, reference folders, and new product launch inputs, ensuring budget compliance and approvals.
Organize gifts, local DGMs, CMEs, RTDs, and other promotional activities as per the annual calendar.
Coordinate with stall fabricators and manage advertisement materials for journals and conferences.
Market Analysis & Business Performance
Analyze market data (IMS, Close-Up, tertiary data) and sales performance by territory, brand, and competitors.
Share monthly sales analysis and insights with the internal team and Head Office.
Track competitor activities and submit structured feedback to Head Office biannually.
Monitor promotional expenditure and ensure budget adherence on a quarterly basis.
Manage brand profitability and conduct benchmarking against key competitors.
Identify future product opportunities and conduct market research to support new product launches.
Cycle Meetings & Conferences
Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoM) to Head Office within 7 working days.
Develop and manage an annual conference calendar (national, regional, international).
Field Work & Customer Connect
Identify market gaps, gather new product feedback, and assess strategy implementation.
Develop speakers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across key segments.
Build and maintain relationships with medical societies and professional associations.
Training & Team Development
Conduct product training programs for new PSRs.
Organize refresher training programs for the existing field force.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, branding, and product lifecycle management
Experience in market research, sales analysis, and budget control
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors
Willingness to travel and conduct regular field work
