Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Development Officer to join a well-established and reputed business group in Nepal. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships (including international clients), and supporting the strategic growth of the company through proactive research and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough business and market research to support growth strategies.
- Prepare detailed feasibility reports, proposals, and business models.
- Present ideas, reports, and proposals effectively to both internal teams and external international companies.
- Collaborate closely with the GM and CEO to implement strategic initiatives.
- Execute tasks and deliverables as directed by senior management.
- Inspire and lead junior team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to drive innovation and growth.
- Maintain regular reporting on KPIs, project updates, and outcomes.
- Work independently when required, especially in the absence of GM and CEO.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or higher qualification is a plus.
Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning preferred.
- Strong command over business communication, including with international clients.
- Ability to prepare and analyze feasibility studies and financial data.
- Knowledge of Nepal’s business environment and current market trends.
- Basic understanding of banking, finance, and investment processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new concepts daily.
- Capable of taking initiative and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with leadership potential to guide junior team members.
