Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Officer to join our growing team in the personal care segment, specifically in the soap and hygiene category. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, an in-depth understanding of distributor and retail networks, and a passion for delivering consistent market growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new retailers, expand market reach, and improve product visibility.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales trends, competitor activities, and product placement.
- Ensure timely order execution, stock availability, and payment collection.
- Train and support distributor sales teams to drive product push and pull.
- Implement trade promotions and schemes effectively in the market.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and provide market insights to the sales manager.
Job Specification
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of field sales experience in FMCG, preferably in soap, detergent, or personal care categories.
- Strong knowledge of retail and distributor management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
- Must be open to travel within assigned territory.
