Job Description
About the Role:
UHS Holdings is seeking a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. This role is crucial in driving the growth of our Interior and Architecture division by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the expansion of our project and retail channels.
The candidate will report directly to the Business Development and Marketing Manager and will work closely with the central marketing, showroom, and design teams to drive sales and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop business opportunities in the residential, retail, and commercial interior sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, developers, and individual clients
- Promote UHS brands and solutions across key client and partner networks
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, showroom activations, and lead generation efforts
- Collaborate with the design, showroom, and project execution teams to ensure a smooth client journey
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform growth strategies
- Track performance against targets and provide regular reports to the Business Development and Marketing Manager
- Represent the company at design expos, trade events, and industry forums
Job Specification
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development or sales within the interior, architecture, or building materials industry
- Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple leads and projects with strong follow-up discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Understanding of interior design trends, client preferences, and architectural processes
- Based in Kathmandu and willing to travel locally as required
