Job Description
- Ensure that partner fund request is correct including consistency with the cost and financing plan and activity plans/DIPs.
- Ensure partner financial reports are correct by reviewing the fund transfers, budget control, fun accountability statement, and cash/bank reconciliations, etc.
- Monitoring of partner finances and facilitation for the compliance with BMZ or donor and WHH regulations.
- Building partners’ capacity on accounting; budget planning and monitoring; financial reporting and procurement through coaching, advise and training.
- Support to prepare budget for the project/or project activities.
- Handling finances (cash and bank), administration, procurement, logistics of WHH Field Office.
- Ensure that the administrative and financial transactions of WHH Field
Job Specification
- Master’s in Business Administration or Studies with at least three years of professional experience in the accounting and finance of I/NGOs.
- Knowledge on, and sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of donor grant administration (esp. BMZ, EU).
- Excellent in written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
- Excellent coordination and facilitation skills
- Valid Driver’s License, able to ride a motorcycle in rural environment.
Desired qualification and experience:
- The local language (Bhojpuri/ Maithali/ Bajika) will be an asset for the position.
- Teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to work under pressure is desirable.
- Political and cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Good understanding on gender and social inclusion related issues.
