Job Description
The Admin & Account Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the organization. This includes preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, handling accounts reconciliation, overseeing office finances, and organizing company meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide timely financial reports such as Profit & Loss Statements, Sales Reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ledgers.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable including daybook, sales book, purchase book, and stock maintenance.
- Handle all ledgers related to banks, customers, partners, and VAT compliance (purchase/sales VAT, billing, filing, etc.).
- Secure all financial transactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial documents.
- Follow all financial policies and office rules strictly.
- Coordinate with various departments (Bank, Yatayat, Sales, Purchase, Kitchen, Garage, etc.) to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Assist in staff-related accounting matters and manage the overall financial operations of the office.
- Prepare documents for mutual transactions such as blacklist letters, agreement letters, approval letters, etc.
- Organize internal programs such as staff meetings, annual gatherings, and other official events.
- Ensure timely reporting and document sharing with management and colleagues.
- Manage overall administrative tasks and support office operations effectively.
Job Specification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in the automobile industry or similar sector.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in spoken and written English & Nepali.
- Presentable, smart, and professional personality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Fast learner, friendly, and sociable.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality in financial handling.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software is preferred.
