Job Description
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Front Desk Officer who also possesses basic accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, handling calls, and assisting with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed
- Administrative & Accounting Support:
- Assist with data entry for invoices, receipts, and vouchers
- Maintain petty cash records and handle day-to-day transactions
- Support basic bookkeeping and inventory management
- Help in preparing reports and financial records as needed
- Coordinate with the accounts department for documentation and filing
- Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital)
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial entries
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Tally, or similar)
Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and intercom systems
