Job Description

Overall Purpose of the role

Factory Managers supervise factory workers and ensure that factory operations run smoothly. Factory managers are responsible for the entire operations of a manufacturing plant. This includes the management and coordination of daily activities to ensure high performance and production at all times.

To be successful as a factory manager, person should demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and resolve any issue that may derail production. Ultimately, a top-performing factory manager should be a good communicator and have a good management and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business administration (MBA Preferred)
A better understanding of factory operations
Deep understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Experience in reporting in various production metrics
Know-how of budgeting concept and performance evaluation
Excellent operational management skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent understanding of MS office
Strong decision making and problem solving skills

Job Specification

Responsibilities

Look After the overall factory operations.
Human Resource Management
Check the quality of final product
Manage factory production, functions, analysis and documentation
Developing plans for the factory’s progress, production improvement and general growth
Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required
Developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve targets
Work within the company policy
Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review
Interact and co-operate with all members of the organization.
