Purchase Manager (Paper Industry)

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a strong background in the paper industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for paper and related raw materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts to achieve the best possible pricing.
• Conduct comparative costing analysis and prepare cost comparison reports.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production requirements.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend the most cost-effective options.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and finance teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or Senior Purchase Executive in the paper industry.
• Strong negotiation and rate bargaining skills.
• Excellent supplier management and vendor development experience.
• Expertise in comparative costing and cost analysis.
• Good communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement-related documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience working with paper manufacturing, trading, or packaging companies.
