Job Description
The Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, representing the organization with professionalism and warmth. The role involves managing reception duties, handling incoming calls, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Handle inquiries from clients, staff, and the general public.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as needed.
- Provide basic administrative support such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with office staff to ensure front desk needs are met.
- Assist in organizing company events or meetings as directed.
Job Specification
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum: +2 (Higher Secondary) in any discipline
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience:
- At least 6 months of experience in a front office or customer service role is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Polite, courteous, and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
