Job Description

Role Overview:

The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Grade 9 and 10 students, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience. The role requires lesson planning, classroom management, student supervision, and continuous assessment to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in alignment with the curriculum.
  • Facilitate communication, discussions, and interactive learning activities.
  • Supervise and mentor students in subject-related matters.
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) with lesson plans, assignments, and study materials.
  • Conduct evaluations, including setting questions, invigilating quizzes/exams, and grading answer sheets.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and prepare result assessments.
  • Implement Thinking-Based Learning (TBL) and Flipped Classroom Pedagogy as compulsory teaching methods.
Job Specification
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
  • Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital teaching tools and LMS platforms.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback.
  • Adaptability in implementing modern teaching methodologies such as Thinking-Based Learning and Flipped Classroom Pedagogy.
