Job Description
Position Summary:
The Part-time Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, responsible for providing professional front-desk support. The role includes handling telephone calls, welcoming guests/clients, maintaining records, and monitoring general front-office activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Greet and assist guests/clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception experience.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, calls, and front-desk activities.
- Monitor front desk area and ensure it remains tidy, organized, and presentable.
- Provide basic administrative support as needed, including message taking and coordination with internal staff.
Duty Time: 1:30PM - 5:30PM
Job Specification
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum: +2 (Intermediate) or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email handling).
- Pleasant personality with a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:
- Part-time position (working hours to be defined).
- Office-based role with direct interaction with guests, clients, and staff.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and presentable at all times.
