Job Description
Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Oversee and lead all local and regional sales operations within the off-trade market.
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure strong market presence.
- Achieve sales growth and targets through effective leadership and management of the sales team.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging markets and new business opportunities.
- Define and execute territory sales plans to optimize coverage and performance.
Team Management and Development
- Manage, coach, and monitor the performance of the off-trade sales team.
- Set clear objectives, targets, and KPIs for the sales team and ensure accountability.
- Provide continuous support, training, and mentorship to enhance team effectiveness.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement corrective actions where needed.
Client and Distributor Relations
- Build and promote long-lasting relationships with clients, distributors, and trade partners by understanding their needs and challenges.
- Advise distributors and dealers on company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and relationship management.
Sales Analysis and Reporting
- Track and analyze sales statistics and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
- Monitor competitors’ activities, new product launches, and market shifts to keep the company strategically positioned.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight
- Prepare and manage sales budgets and projections in coordination with management.
- Approve sales-related expenditures and ensure cost efficiency across operations.
- Monitor sales profitability and optimize resource utilization.
Market Development
- Identify new market segments and growth opportunities within the off-trade category.
- Lead initiatives to increase product visibility and distribution in the retail market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all off-trade channels.
Job Specification
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal leadership skill.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, or related field (A Master’s degree (MBA/Marketing) is an advantage but not mandatory)
- 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or Beverages industry
- Min. 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong background in off-trade channels such as Modern trade (supermarkets, chains), Independent retailers, Wholesale.
- Candidates with prior experience in the beverage industry are encouraged to apply and will be preferred.
- Candidates who have worked in the beverage field in the hospitality industry will have an advantage.
Salary and Other Allowances
- Basic Salary: NPR 30,000 – 35,000 (inclusive of taxes)
- Travel & Daily Allowances: NPR 15,000
- Over-time performance will be rewarded accordingly
