Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Train and mentor service staff to maintain high hospitality and service standards.
- Monitor table assignments and manage reservations to optimize seating capacity.
- Assist in taking orders, serving food, and ensuring prompt and accurate delivery.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with restaurant policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient communication and service.
- Handle billing, cash, and card transactions as needed.
- Support management in inventory checks and stock control for restaurant essentials.
Job Specification
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Supervisor, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
