Job Description

As a documentation expert, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports our organizational goals.

Proposal Writing and Development:

  • Drafting project proposals for government, international agencies, and private sector clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and donor requirements.
  • Conducting research to support proposal narratives and budgets.

Report Writing and Editing:

  • Preparing well-structured project reports, research papers, and case studies.
  • Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Reviewing and editing documents to maintain a high level of quality.

Content Creation:

  • Creating content for brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Writing blog posts, newsletters, and articles showcasing organizational activities.

Documentation Management:

  • Organizing and maintaining a centralized repository of organizational documents.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and proper access control of sensitive information.

Collaboration and coordination:

  • Working closely with project managers, researchers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary inputs.
  • Coordinating with graphic designers or multimedia teams to enhance the visual appeal of documents.

 

Job Specification
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in technical writing, proposal development, or documentation management.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documents.
  • Familiarity with funding agencies and donor requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of sustainable development and consulting sectors.
  • Experience working with international clients and agencies.
  • Creativity and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
