Job Description

This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing team of student advisers at Smart Direction Education Services Pvt. Ltd. The Australia Counselor will be responsible for guiding students through their study-abroad journey, providing end-to-end support from inquiry to application completion. The role requires proactive communication, up-to-date knowledge of Australian education pathways, and a strong commitment to student success and organizational ethics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Advise students regarding study options, career pathways, and academic opportunities in Australia.
  • Offer accurate, updated guidance on universities, courses, intakes, scholarships, admission procedures, and visa requirements.
  • Assist students in application submission, document compilation, interview preparation, and final admission processing.
  • Conduct research to stay informed about Australian education frameworks, policy changes, and immigration regulations.
  • Monitor applicant progress through systematic follow-ups and maintain student satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Build strong professional connections with partner institutions, students, and internal teams.
  • Ensure transparency, compliance, and ethical counseling throughout each student case.

 

Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for education, counseling, or related background.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in counseling or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of GS (Genuine Student) criteria, documentation processes, and visa assessment.
  • TITI certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation ability.
  • Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive, student-centered attitude with a professional and approachable personality.
