Role Description
The Sound Therapist - Change Agent will play a crucial role in delivering therapeutic sound experiences designed to promote relaxation, balance, and inner harmony for individuals. Responsibilities include conducting sound therapy sessions using specialized techniques, educating clients on the principles of sound healing, and customizing therapy plans based on individual needs. The role also involves actively collaborating with the team to develop new methods for integrating sound therapy practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sound therapy techniques, including the use of instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and our hand-crafted sound instruments.
- Strong ability to assess individual client needs and tailor therapy sessions for optimal wellness
- Knowledge of wellness practices and therapeutic sound applications, as well as an understanding of ancient and modern healing traditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for educating clients and working collaboratively with the team
- Experience in mindfulness practices, meditation, or related healing modalities
- Passion for promoting well-being and facilitating positive change
- Certification or formal training in sound therapy is preferred
- Ability to work in-person in Kathmandu
