Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Restaurant Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain authentic Indian/Nepal dining ambiance, including decor, music, and hospitality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

2. Customer Service & Experience:

  • Train staff in hospitality customs to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Promote Nepali /Indian culinary traditions through menu knowledge and storytelling.

3. Staff Management & Training:

  • If needed Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff (servers, chefs, bartenders, etc.).
  • Conduct regular training on Nepali/Indian cuisine, ingredients, and service etiquette.
  • Schedule shifts and manage team performance.

4. Inventory & Financial Management:

  • Monitor inventory of Indian/Nepali specialty ingredients and place orders with suppliers.
  • Control food costs, minimize waste, and optimize profitability.
  • Assist in budgeting, sales analysis, and financial reporting.

5. Marketing & Promotion:

  • Collaborate on marketing strategies to attract customers (social media, events, promotions).
  • Build relationships with local communities and food critics.

 

Job Specification
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, preferably in a Nepali/Indian restaurant.
  • Deep knowledge of Nepali/Indian cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and restaurant management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English & Vietnamese language is a plus (for authentic customer interactions)
