Job Description
The Teaching Faculty is expected to plan semesters and deliver course materials to the BIM/BCA students in the subjects/courses assigned by the BIM/BCA Programme Coordinator.
Key Roles :
- Plan, design and develop lesson plans
- Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues
- Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
- Provide practical sessions and manage student projects.
Other Specification:
- Preferably University Masters’ degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application / Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching experience in IT related programmes (esp. Networking, Electronics, Programming
- Strong knowledge of teaching and learning/curriculum/pedagogy, academic planning and faculty supervision
- Effective in classroom teaching and learning and development of teaching-learning resources, diverse assignments, and projects
- Good knowledge of University program policies and processes, student’s academic cycle
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide practical classes and manage student projects
- Strong IT knowledge and skills to supervise BIM/BCA curriculum implementation

- Excellent skills to manage time, people and resources
- Excellent understanding of curriculum, course structure, students’ expectations, and requirements of the university

- Attuned with periodic reporting in prescribed form or concise/detailed form

- High level of integrity and strong professional ethics

Salary & Benefit: Nrs 50,000 - Nrs 100,000 (For deserving candidate)
