We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab/Food Technician who is passionate about quality, safety, and excellence in dairy/food production. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accurate testing and reporting. As a Lab/Food Technician, you will support the quality assurance and control functions of our dairy/food production operations
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses according to standard operating procedures
Carry out sensory evaluation and platform testing to assess product attributes
Calibrate, maintain, and operate laboratory instruments and equipment
Prepare and stock reagents/media, maintain the cleanliness of lab areas, and support equipment sterilization
Record, interpret, and report test results with attention to detail
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality systems, and hygiene practices
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement
Job Specification
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Food Technology or Dairy Technology (mandatory)
Practical ability to conduct quality analysis, sensory evaluation, and routine lab testing using standard equipment
Understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory compliance
Meticulous record keeping with traceability of test data
Track production rates and report findings with minimal loss focus
Excellent communication skills for reporting daily production and quality results
Preferred (Plus Points):
Internship experience in a dairy or food processing laboratory
Understanding of dairy chemistry and microbiology basics
