Job Description
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients visiting or contacting the tour and travel company. The role is responsible for managing front-desk operations, handling inquiries related to travel services, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to tour packages, visas, ticketing, and general information.
- Direct client queries to the appropriate department (sales, ticketing, operations, visa).
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
- Schedule appointments and manage visitor logs.
- Assist the sales and operations team with basic administrative support.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (couriers, emails, documents).
- Maintain client records, inquiry logs, and follow-up lists.
- Provide accurate information about company services, promotions, and offers.
- Support booking documentation, invoicing, and filing when required.
- Ensure confidentiality of client and company information at all times.
Job Specification
Education & Qualification
- Minimum +2 / Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Certification or training in Hospitality, Tourism, or Customer Service is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role (tour & travel industry preferred).
- Freshers with strong communication skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of tour packages, travel documentation, and destinations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).

Language Requirement
- Fluency in English and Nepali (additional languages are a plus).
