About the Role
Azrach IT is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of quality across our software products and client projects. This is a hands-on role covering both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with Product, BA, Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Own QA across the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Build automated functional, regression, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and TestNG.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, integration and UAT testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios and QA documentation.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services and integrations.
- Conduct cross-browser, responsive and compatibility testing.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues early.
- Analyse test results and continuously improve test coverage and QA processes.
- Establish and promote QA standards and best practices across projects.
- Champion quality through both manual testing and automation.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience, mandatory.
- Strong commercial experience with Selenium and TestNG, mandatory.
- Strong manual testing experience.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent defect identification, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA activities.
