Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Pokhara. The Architect will design residential and commercial buildings, prepare detailed drawings and 2D/3D plans, and coordinate with clients to understand requirements and constraints. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and construction teams, overseeing site supervision, and ensuring designs meet structural, safety, and regulatory standards. The Architect will assist with documentation for house map approvals and support property valuation and survey-related design inputs. The role also involves managing project timelines, maintaining quality standards, and communicating progress to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to create functional, safe, and aesthetically balanced building plans.
  • Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress and deliverables.
  • Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, CAD/BIM platforms, and workflow optimization.
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or equivalent) and ability to produce accurate drawings and models.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Pokhara and across Nepal.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; relevant professional certifications and prior field experience are preferred.
