Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive with hands-on experience in FMCG import, logistics, and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the complete import journey — from overseas suppliers and documentation to customs clearance, transportation, and final delivery to the unit warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage PO, PI, LC, import, shipping, and commercial documentation.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, banks, clearing agents, transporters, and internal teams.
- Handle Food Department approvals, product/sample submissions, and regulatory follow-ups.
- Coordinate customs clearance, shipment tracking, truck placement, and transportation.
- Ensure timely movement of imported goods from customs/port to the unit warehouse.
- Maintain accurate import, procurement, logistics, and warehouse records.
- Assist with import-related payments, invoices, costing, and financial documentation.
- Prepare official letters, reports, and government correspondence.
- Monitor the end-to-end supply chain and proactively resolve delays and operational issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of practical experience in FMCG import, trading, distribution, or supply chain.
- Good practical knowledge of LC, PO, PI, import documentation, customs, and logistics.
- Knowledge of Food Department approval processes will be an advantage.
- Third-country import experience is highly preferred.
- Good command of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use Nepali Unicode/Preeti typing.
- Strong coordination, communication, documentation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
