We work closely with Australian mortgage brokers, lenders, and financial service providers to deliver reliable, high-quality credit and loan processing support.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our growing team in Kathmandu and work closely with Australian mortgage professionals.
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing residential loan applications, analysing borrowers' financial positions, reviewing supporting documentation, and determining serviceability and credit risk.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on Credit Analyst experience and a strong understanding of Australian mortgage lending processes.
- Assess and analyse residential mortgage loan applications.
- Conduct detailed credit and risk assessments.
- Review borrowers' income, expenses, liabilities, assets and financial position.
- Analyse payslips, bank statements, tax returns, financial statements and other supporting documents.
- Perform serviceability calculations and identify potential lending risks.
- Verify applicant information and supporting documentation.
- Assess loan applications against lender credit policies and guidelines.
- Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies and potential risks within applications.
- Prepare clear credit assessment recommendations.
- Liaise with Australian mortgage brokers and other stakeholders regarding applications.
- Ensure applications meet relevant lender requirements before submission.
- Manage multiple applications while maintaining accuracy and turnaround times.
- Support loan processors and junior credit analysts where required.
- Stay up to date with Australian lending policies, credit requirements and industry practices.
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst.
- Strong experience in credit assessment and financial analysis.
- Excellent understanding of loan applications and credit risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of income verification, liabilities, expenses and serviceability.
- Excellent attention to detail and document-review skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with Australian residential mortgage lending.
- Experience working with Australian mortgage brokers, lenders or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of Australian lender policies and serviceability requirements.
- Experience using Australian mortgage/CRM platforms such as MyCRM, ApplyOnline, Mercury, or similar systems.
