Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Video Editing Instructor / Trainer to provide practical, industry focused training to students. The role involves teaching professional video editing techniques, guiding students through hands on projects, and helping them develop strong editing skills and professional portfolios. Candidates should have strong expertise in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other professional editing tools, along with good communication and presentation skills.Job Responsibilities
• Conduct practical video editing training from beginner to advanced level
• Guide students through real world video editing projects
• Teach editing workflows, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound and color grading
• Create practical assignments, exercises and learning activities
• Review student work and provide constructive feedback
• Support students in developing professional video editing portfolios
• Stay updated with current video editing tools, techniques and industry trends
Required Skills
• 4+ years of professional video editing experience
• Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Understanding of color correction, color grading and audio editing
• Knowledge of motion graphics, VFX and professional rendering workflows
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions and sound design
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and conduct practical classes
• Previous teaching or training experience is preferred
• Professional video editing portfolio is mandatory
