Role Description The Junior Architect will work on-site in Pokhara in a full-time capacity, supporting the design and execution of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing architectural drawings and 3D models, and supporting detailed design documentation. The role involves coordinating with engineers, senior architects, and project managers to ensure designs align with technical standards, client requirements, and local regulations. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, assist in monitoring construction progress, and help resolve design-related issues. The position also includes preparing presentations, revising drawings based on feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement in design and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including the ability to develop plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as task coordination, basic scheduling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Candidates should possess relevant technical software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design tools) to support architectural documentation.
  • Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of construction methods, building materials, and local building codes and standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work on-site in Pokhara in a collaborative team environment are required.
