Video EditorLocation: Kalimati, Kathmandu Type: Full-time, on-site Experience: 1–3 years Reports to: Creative Lead
About the roleWe produce short-form video for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and paid ads for a range of brands. We're hiring one video editor to handle these edits end to end, from raw footage to platform-ready export, including basic motion graphics.
Responsibilities- Edit short-form videos and ads from footage, briefs and reference material.
- Add captions, titles, lower thirds and simple animated elements.
- Do basic colour correction and audio cleanup.
- Export in the correct format, aspect ratio and resolution for each platform.
- Adapt editing style to different brands and campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback from the content and marketing teams.
- Keep project files and assets organised.
- Keep up with current short-form editing styles and trends.
- 1–3 years of video editing experience (agency, brand, creator or freelance).
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of After Effects; able to build simple motion graphics (animated text, titles, transitions, logo animations) without relying only on templates.
- Understanding of pacing, hooks and structure for short-form content.
- Basic colour correction and audio editing skills.
- Familiar with video formats, codecs and export settings for social platforms.
- Able to take feedback and turn revisions around quickly.
- Advanced After Effects or other motion design experience.
- CapCut for fast trend-based edits.
- Photoshop or Illustrator for thumbnails and graphic assets.
- Degree or training in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Work on content that is published and promoted for real brands.
- Ownership of edits from start to finish.
- Salary based on skills and experience.
