Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team and drive quality excellence through automation, performance optimization, and security validation. This role requires a versatile QA professional who can design and implement automated test frameworks, conduct comprehensive performance testing, and integrate security testing practices into our CI/CD pipeline.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a quality-first mindset, thrives in agile environments, and is passionate about building robust, scalable test solutions.
Experience
· Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
· At least 2+ years of experience in test automation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
· Relevant QA certifications are desirable.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
· Perform functional, regression, integration, API, security, and performance testing.
· Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
· Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
· Collaborate closely with developers, and coordinate with the Australian team
· Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Required Skills
· Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
· Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
· Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
· Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
· Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in Security Testing using tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or equivalent.
· Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
· Exposure to AI-assisted testing or AI Operations (AIOps) is highly desirable.
· Experience working in cloud-based environments AWS is an advantage.
