Hiring : Video Editor
Compensation: NPR 35,000/month (Fixed) + Performance based Incentives
Role Description:
We are hiring a Video Editor to create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, and Instagram Reels. The working shift is from: 1pm to 9pm , Monday to Saturday.
You will edit videos end-to-end using CapCut, apply trendy effects,and ensure all content aligns with the brand’s style and platform best practices.
Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality short-form videos using CapCut, ensuring clean storytelling through seamless cuts, engaging pacing, captions, sound design, and visual effects.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, viral formats, transitions, audio, and templates, and proactively incorporate them into content where relevant.
- Experiment with new creative editing techniques, storytelling formats, and visual concepts to continuously improve content performance and audience engagement.
- Review content critically before submission, ensuring accuracy, quality, pacing, captions, and overall viewer experience.
- Be proactive in suggesting creative improvements, alternative edits, and fresh content ideas instead of simply executing instructions.
- Remain adaptable to changing priorities, trending topics, and fast-paced newsroom or social media requirements.
- Demonstrate curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to continuously learn, test, and refine new editing approaches that push creative boundaries.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CapCut (advanced preferred)
- Vertical/9:16 native editing experience (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
- Strong pacing, storytelling, and trend awareness
- Good communication and ability to work independently and can function on tight deadlines.
- Ability to use AI editing tools and AI Image Generation tools (auto-cut, AI captioning, upscaling, etc.)
