Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Trade Sales Officer to manage sales activities within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with distributors and retailers, achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, and ensuring effective execution of trade initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising at retail outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and competitor activities.
- Execute trade promotions and promotional campaigns effectively.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor outstanding payments and support timely collections when required.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 + years of experience in trade sales, field sales, or territory sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
