Role OverviewYoung Forever is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and manage the entire production process within our garment manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
The Production Manager will work closely with all departments including Pattern Making, Sampling, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Quality Control, Warehouse, Merchandising, and Management to ensure smooth and efficient production flow from raw materials to finished garments.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Control- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure production schedules align with delivery deadlines.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) across all production stages.
- Coordinate with all departments to maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet production targets.
- Adjust production plans based on demand and operational challenges.
- Oversee all production departments including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
- Ensure efficient workflow and coordination between departments.
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to production timelines and quality standards.
- Lead and manage supervisors, line leaders, and production staff.
- Conduct regular meetings to review production performance.
- Train and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive work environment.
- Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards.
- Work closely with Quality Control teams to minimize defects.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Reduce rework, rejection, and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with approved samples and specifications.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and best practices.
- Improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Standardize processes across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Recommend upgrades or new machinery when required.
- Monitor availability of raw materials, trims, and accessories.
- Coordinate with warehouse and stores for timely material supply.
- Reduce material wastage and improve usage efficiency.
- Ensure proper handling of inventory and work-in-progress.
- Prepare and present production reports to management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
- Production Output
- Efficiency
- Quality Metrics
- Delivery Performance
- Machine Utilization
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Promote use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support 5S implementation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Garment Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Management are an advantage.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in garment manufacturing.
- At least 3–5 years in a production management role.
- Experience managing multi-department production operations.
- Experience in export-oriented garment manufacturing is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving production targets and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
