Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to lead the organic growth of TaxMD™, our AI-powered SaaS platform.
• You will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that improve search visibility, increase qualified organic traffic, and support user acquisition.
• This role requires someone with strong technical SEO knowledge, content optimization experience, and a passion for building high-performing websites.
• The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, think strategically, and execute consistently without needing step-by-step direction.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy

• Own, develop, and execute the complete SEO strategy for TaxMD™.

• Create SEO strategies that align with business goals, product goals, and lead generation goals.

• Conduct keyword research to identify high-intent search opportunities.

• Build SEO roadmaps focused on short-term wins and long-term organic growth.

• Monitor competitors and identify new ranking, content, and backlink opportunities.

• Recommend SEO priorities based on data, search trends, and business impact.

Technical SEO

• Perform technical SEO audits and resolve crawl, indexing, and website performance issues.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals, site speed, mobile performance, and overall user experience.

• Improve website architecture, URL structure, and internal linking.

• Manage schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, and indexability.

• Work with developers to implement SEO best practices and technical fixes.

• Identify and resolve SEO issues before they impact rankings or traffic.

Content SEO

• Build keyword-driven content strategies for blogs, landing pages, feature pages, and product pages.

• Create detailed SEO content briefs for writers.

• Optimize new and existing content for search intent, rankings, readability, and conversions.

• Improve underperforming content based on ranking opportunities and performance data.

• Develop topical authority through content clusters around tax planning, SaaS, AI tax tools, and financial topics.

• Review content before publishing to ensure SEO quality and alignment with the overall strategy.

Off-Page SEO

• Build high-quality backlinks using ethical outreach strategies.

• Identify partnership, PR, directory, and guest posting opportunities.

• Monitor backlink profiles, domain authority, and toxic backlinks.

• Track competitor backlink strategies and identify link-building opportunities.

• Build authority for TaxMD™ in tax planning, AI software, and financial technology spaces.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, conversions, indexed pages, backlinks, and domain authority.

• Use Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and PageSpeed Insights.

• Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with clear insights and action steps.

• Track SEO progress against business goals and recommend ongoing improvements.

• Turn SEO data into practical next steps for content, website, and technical improvements.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience.

• Strong understanding of technical SEO.

• Proven experience improving keyword rankings and organic traffic.

• Experience with on-page and off-page SEO.

• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.

• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with SaaS companies.

• Experience growing newly launched websites.

• Understanding of AI search trends and modern SEO.

• Experience building topical authority and content clusters.

• Experience working with Webflow or modern CMS platforms.

Nice to Have

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.

• Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization.

• Familiarity with schema markup.

• Experience working with developers.
