Role Description The Account Officer is a full-time on-site role based in Biratnagar. This position manages customer accounts, prepares and reviews financial records related to distribution activities, and supports accurate billing and collections. Daily tasks include monitoring account balances, reconciling transactions, assisting with financial reporting, and maintaining up-to-date customer information. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with sales and operations teams, and helping ensure smooth order-to-cash processes. The Account Officer is expected to maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality while supporting the company’s financial health.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to prepare, interpret, and manage Financial Statements.
- Analytical Skills to review account data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting or ERP software; attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax practices in Nepal is an advantage.
- Experience in distribution, retail, or consumer electronics sectors is beneficial.
