Hiring : Social Video ProducerLocation: Kathmandu (On-site)
Compensation: NPR 35,000/month (Fixed) + Performance based Incentives
We're looking for a Social Video Producer who is naturally curious, obsessed with finding stories, and believes content can inform and spark conversations with people and even solve a problem.
If you're someone who notices what others miss, enjoys solving problems through storytelling, and wants to build a career at the intersection of journalism and digital content, we'd love to hear from you.
- Chase stories worth telling—both trending and untold and produce engaging, social-first video content from idea to execution for those stories.
- Research, verify, and develop stories with speed and accuracy.
- Brainstorm fresh content ideas that resonate with digital audiences and create content.
- Think beyond the obvious and approach every story with a problem-solving mindset.
- Stay ahead of news, internet culture, and audience trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in journalism and digital media.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media content creation and short-form video.
- Able to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
- Familiarity with mobile content creation and basic editing tools.
