Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Videographer role based in Kathmandu. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce video content for various client projects, including promotional materials, corporate videos, and digital campaigns. Daily responsibilities include operating cameras and lighting equipment, setting up shots, capturing high-quality footage, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs. The role also involves organizing and maintaining equipment, contributing to storyboarding and shot lists, and coordinating with editors to ensure smooth post-production workflows. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under deadlines, adapting to different filming environments, and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.


Qualifications


  • Strong video production skills, including planning shoots and coordinating with creative and marketing teams.
  • Proficiency in camera operation and handling different types of camera equipment.
  • Experience with lighting setup and control for indoor and outdoor shooting environments.
  • Demonstrated ability in shooting video with attention to composition, sound, and visual storytelling.
  • Knowledge of video editing workflows and familiarity with common editing software.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu and be available for occasional off-site shoots as needed.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with the ability to follow creative direction and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
